Remote Data Collection
In addition to custom office software, ELM Computer Systems also designs software for remote data collection; enabling hand-held & tablet devices to record chemical levels in water systems or track commodity prices.
One of our primary remote applications was designed for the Android platform; Field Technicians use devices equipped with this application to record & monitor the status of client water heating/cooling systems. Data is encrypted and wirelessly transmitted to a central server, where it is used to generate client reports and maintenance recommendations.
Completed and outstanding client call lists, supplies status, technician on-site time are also exchanged between the remote device and the server; vastly improving billing efficiency and reliability.
